A recent study by Anpal (National Agency for Active Employment Policies), confirms that in the context of the demand for skills related to the green economy by 2021, as many as 77 percent of new executive hires are related to green jobs and 78 percent of the contracts planned by Italian companies are for the recruitment of these skills.
The energy transition, therefore, represents a social, cultural, and market revolution, and human capital is called upon to play a fundamental role in this revolution.
The EGE is a professional linked to the Green Economy who is entrusted with the increasingly complex task – even given the international situation – of ensuring GDP growth and limiting the impact of human activities on the environment.
The standard UNI CEI 11339:2009, defines the general requirements and procedures for the qualification of the professional figure of the EGE, who must have the ability to combine knowledge in the energy and environmental field, with management, economic and financial skills. It is necessary to increase the use of accredited skills certification, starting with the professionals involved in the activities related to the NGEU and the consequent National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRP), in order to be certain to turn to qualified operators, who are able to guarantee certainty of result and the highest levels of professionalism.
