EGE’S CRUCIAL ROLE IN THE TRANSITION 5.0 PLAN
The recent decree implementing the Transition 5.0 plan, published in the Official Gazette, marks a key moment in the transformation of Italian production processes toward a more efficient and sustainable model. Paragraph 11 of Article 38 of Decree Law 19/2024 stipulates that the tax benefits of the Transition 5.0 plan are subject to the submission of energy certifications issued by an independent evaluator, accredited according to UNI CEI standards.
