WORLD FOOD SAFETY DAY: CERTIFIED AUDITORS, LEADERSHIP IN THE AGRI-FOOD SECTOR.
On June 7 each year, the World Food Safety Day is celebrated around the world.
Ensuring food security depends on governments, international organizations, scientists, businesses and citizens and must be a shared responsibility. Every citizen is called to do their part by adopting a sustainable lifestyle, not only on World Food Safety Day.
Certifications and accredited tests support institutions, businesses, professionals and consumers in achieving the goals for sustainable development indicated in the UN Agenda 2030, providing an important variety of tools.
The UNI EN ISO 22000:2018 standard “Management systems for food safety – Requirements for any organization in the food chain” has the great merit of integrating and harmonizing the safety management approach at an international level along the entire food chain, allowing at the same time to demonstrate the constant commitment of the organization in the management of food safety, increasing not only its reputation, but also the trust of final consumers.
Auditor and Lead Auditor who certify their skills on Food Safety Management Systems are important reference figures for operators, essential for the correct application of EU regulations on the subject of hygiene and food safety.
The growth of skills is a necessity for every professional, especially for those who intend to professionalize and/or specialize their knowledge and skills by operating in a complex and constantly evolving sector such as the agri-food sector.
The certifications issued by a third party and accredited as Ricec International, are a recognition of the skills and knowledge acquired by the person in the course of his work, training and life experience.
